In Future’s song “Hallucinating,” he says, “You did more drugs than me? You must be hallucinating.” There are 2 possible interpretations of that phrase. In one, he is saying, “If you did more drugs than I did just now, they are probably causing you to hallucinate, because I also did a lot of the drugs. Doing more drugs than I did right now is so much drugs that you are probably seeing things that aren’t actually there.” On the other hand, he could also be saying that anyone who thinks they did more drugs than he did must be hallucinating. Like, if you think you did more drugs than Future did, you must be seeing things, because Future does the most of the drugs. It’s like that Lil Wayne lyric where he says, “Real Gs move in silence like lasagna.” Upon first listen, I thought he was alluding to how lasagna would move silently. I imagined Lil Wayne holding a plate of lasagna at a 45 degree angle with a mic very close to it to demonstrate how silently lasagna moves. Obviously, I later realized the actual reference - Wayne is pointing out that the g in the word “lasagna” is silent. Also, there’s a lyric in “Coming Out Strong,” another song on Hndrxx, that sounds like Future is saying, “The only time I feel alive is when I taste dick!”
